The Gomden's family tea tree

Gomden’s Tea is deeply rooted in a history that goes back to 1875 when enterprising and adventurous Ganjabir Gomden looking for better fortunes proceeded to the luscious green Lebong Valley where the British started the initial tea plantations of the Darjeeling hills in the 1850s.

Tea as drink was always bonding factor or a story that is being sipped and this is a story of five generations that had a humble start about 150 years back, deeply rooted to the tea culture that blended well with the 200 years of Indian tea industry.

Gomden’s Tea Bar endeavours to keep tea pure and natural. Our teas do not cost the Earth aiming to make all tea in Gomden’s Tea Bar affordable to the public. We have now moved on to mixing our teas with herbs and flower petals and essential oils to add unique exotic flavours packed with health and healing properties.

Why Gomden's Tea?

The Gomden generations enrolled on the tea industry and down the line, Arun Kumar Gomden, his great-
grandson invented unique blends of teas and top quality natural Silver Tips and White Tea that won him accoladesand his famous Muscatel tea took the tea markets by storms. We offer two kinds of packaging, one is in tea bags and the other is loose tea. Some brands such as our Rose teas, Jasmine Teas, and anti-stress spiced teas and others areuniquely mixed by us with either green or black tea leaves with the perfect ingredients and quantities togive its fantastic flavours, just a perfect cup of delight.
